![]() Large architectural pieces, beautiful cabinets, vintage metal lockers, drawers, shelves... just a little of what we discovered and purchased on our trip to City Salvage and Design in Grand River, Ohio. In trying to take a "day off" from working, I thought it was a great time to check out one of the Ohio businesses that I follow and have been curious about. Once I confirmed that my partner in junking (Jessica, of Sassyfrass) could come along I was ready to hit the road! ![]() This is Amy, the owner of City Salvage and Design, with Jessica and I after we figured out the puzzle of loading the car. Alas, not all of it fit.... so guess who's going back with a trailer?! Bonus! Another bonus was that Amy wrote down addresses for several estate sales in town so that we could do more hunting and get more bang for our gas dollars. We hit them both and them some! ![]() ![]() And in the end, every adventure comes down to this..... FOOD!! We drove into Painesville and found a great little place, the Sidewalk Cafe. With two huge vintage milkshake machines at the bar you know it's going to be good. A full belly is always a great ending to a road trip.
