Goodies we loved! Some too pricey, a few didn't fit, and a couple were just right!
This was the first "trip" we have gotten to take since I decided to have a store, where the sole purpose is to shop, shop, shop!! I have to say, it's not a bad job and why did I wait to long to do this? I mean, I have done it for 30 years for fun... but doing it as a job is AWESOME! Doing it as a job means more work, more walking and hauling, MUCH more haggling ...but also making connections, meeting awesome vendors that want to wholesale fun things to you, and finding that perfect thing that everyone will love! Plus a few nights in a hotel, time away with hubby, eating junk and getting an odd sunburn! Just the best!
Just a few of the 6 times we hauled our goodies to the trailer. Chris did more than his fair share and we both have bruises and blisters from some of the larger pieces! Walked 10 hours the first day.
And it's always fun to find (and buy?) some oddities. No, I did NOT buy the bizarre life sized organ guy... but have some strange friends that loved it? lol I DID buy the plaster torso with some boob injuries. She looked like she needed a good safe home.
Who Am I?
I've tried it all...hair stylist/faux painter/stay at home mom/jewelry artist/late in life college student/retail shop owner/design consultant/home stager. Through it all I've loved doing home renovations, DIY and thrifting.
