![]() With so many fun things to see and do on a trip, one of the best is meeting up with friends! Last year this trip allowed us to meet some cool people that we looked forward to finding this time around. So glad we found them! ![]() This is Rick from Alabama and the owner of Hat Creek Antiques, and he and I have funky industrial lighting in common. Over this past year Rick and I have stayed in touch and texted many photos and ideas to each other for inspiration. This year he brought some items that he found especially for us and let me tell ya, Chris is excited for his new "old" tailgates and the benches to be made. ![]() On my road trip to South Carolina this spring I met Justin and Karrie from 21 Junk Street. Thank goodness I did! Chris and I were able to track them down in Tennessee yesterday and Justin had made me an awesome personalized Rust & Found cuff. Thanks Justin!! My heart also melted when I met their new little puppy, Gypsy. And how cool is this?.... Justin was just in a movie with Zach Galifianakis! ![]() We also were glad we were able to hunt down Albert from Dazed N Confuzed. He is also a kindred spirit with awesome industrial treasures. Great buys from him again this year! I didn't grab a photo with Brewster, but I did get pics of his booth and some crazy and awesome things he brought this year. This is also where I found the fantastic wooden elephant head. ![]() A few final pics of the day. We did spend an extra night so we could grab some things this morning where we had to leave off last year, and it was so worth it! 8/9/2014 12:15:55 am
