What a day! I started out at my first flea market of the season with my great friend Jessica. Sunshine, wind and lots of great finds! The car was completely loaded and a few finds will have to be held back for June's Show & Sell days. By the time the car was unloaded my brother made it to town to visit and see the shop. First I just had to take he and my daughter to my favorite junkin spot in Akron.
He is the first family member to get to see the finished product and I think he was pleasantly surprised! (and I hope a bit proud of me) The trip to Canal Fulton wouldn't have been complete without walking across the street and taking Bret for and Ice Cream at Osers. I am going to gain weight with this place across the street for sure!
Now that things are being moved here and there in the shop, I see how much I DON'T have. I need lots of filler and small things. The race is on to find these things in the next two weeks! Darn, I guess I will have to hit up the flea market again this week...* wink wink.
Who Am I?
I've tried it all..hair stylist/faux painter/stay at home mom/jewelry artist/late in life college student. Through all of those former "careers" I have had one constant passion.. a love of junk, flea markets and creating! It took me 30 years to find the courage do this full time and I have finally settled on what I'm going to be when I grow up!
