Today would have been the perfect day to have had a driver! I missed so many chances to take some beautiful fall photos, but felt I should actually keep my hands on the steering wheel.
My colorful fall drive had a purpose, which was to SHOP!
I'm lucky to get to visit a friend while hand selecting new Farmhouse Frock designs for the shop, and even luckier
she lives in the country where fall seems even brighter!
The offer to dig through the clothing treasures before anyone else and have lunch while I'm doing it, made me feel very special! And can I just say ... the BEST home made
tomato soup I have ever eaten?
Before the shopping began I needed to take in all of
the beautiful inspiration around my friends home....
An amazing Ironstone collection, and a
talent for staging it! There are touches
of her style and love of design everywhere
you looked. Out on the patio a miniature garden,
sea shells, moss and toadstools were
each placed perfectly as if small works of art.
How is all of this for inspiration?
Even the canning jars placed
on the table made me want
to run home and plan
a garden for next year.
Okay, so back to the shopping...
The Farmhouse Frocks, both the new designs and the upcycled one of a kind pieces, are all so gorgeous! And I have to admit it was tough staying in budget and even tougher making decisions! Vintage lace, doilies, denim, soft textures ... I need to
get busy photographing some of my favorites!
And I also need to get busy making that fantastic
