I love finding easy tutorials on all types of things and sometimes it's worth sharing. You all know by now that I love things that look rusty, worn or previously loved. Here is a simple TUTORIAL on how to take new metal and give it a nice worn look. Who wants shiny and new unless it's a piece of jewelry? Everything looks better when it has a great patina! Craft store and discount stores often have cute little galvanized buckets, flower pots , all types of things for around the house that just need an aged look to feel more expensive and look a little richer. I've found fun stuff at the dollar store!! If you try it on something I would love to hear how you did! Here are a few photos for added inspiration for that "just right rusty" look.
